Today is a special day—I’m publishing my 200th article on Substack.
Many excellent points in this post, from the "long-termism" of strategy to strategy as a medium to identify and define the right problem to solve.
I'm quickly becoming a fan of this newsletter!
Many thanks for the feedback, it is especially pleasing to hear it from a pro.
Great article ! Really appreciate the focus on long-term thinking. Success is about staying in the game, not just hitting short-term goals.
Many thanks, @Nick Makris. I like to read your articles very much, too!
Congratulations on your 200th Substack article Svyatoslav - that is a commendable back catalogue!
I agree fully that strategy has to be ongoing - it's never 'completed', it just sets out the next stage of that organisation's journey.
Many thanks for the comment, David!
I remember our geometry teacher in secondary school saying that defining a problem is half the solution. It actually helps me in life. Putting problems into words works.
I also heard it many times from my school teachers. There were great teachers in that country!
Well said. Thanks
