The real game starts with listening to consumers. They'll tell you what they need, what they hate, what they can’t find anywhere else. That’s where the disruption should also start. Reinventing the wheel is pointless unless it takes someone somewhere they didn't know they wanted to go.

Many thanks for the comment! When I start a new strategy project, I insist that all top executives should make at least 5 customer interviews each. It changes their worldviews, sometimes it turns them upside down
